Transgender by Pfizer
For many Americans touting Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla as the face of a new drug pricing agreement is bad optics. Americans are widely aware of Pfizer’s role in the death and harm from the recent injection campaign. Not as many are aware of Pfizer’s role in the modern transgender campaign.
Fair drug pricing and control over manufacturing of safe and effective drugs for legitimate ailments while boosting the nation’s economy are welcome. But when the opposite happens and then are delivered across integrated delivery systems harms proliferate. Could the subjective diagnosis “gender dysphoria,” where the gender ideology indoctrinated are considered “born in the wrong body” be any more illegitimate? NGOs blinded by a well-funded corporate campaign have boosted a field of gender medicine few once dared tread. This post focuses on Pfizer and pharma industry initiatives around gender medicine despite recent pushback.
An NGO/ Pfizer/ PhRMA Alliance
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) tops the list as the largest civil rights NGO for LGBTQ+ equality. In January 2023, the first of a 3-part series on HRC efforts to gather supporters for the modern transgender cause dropped on the 11th Hour Blog. The posts were republished here receiving minimal attention as a substack newcomer. Consider reading paying particular attention to part 3 divulging the funders and leaders of the campaign. They are Pfizer and PhRMA. Note that Pfizer is the only pharma corporation that is a top tier HRC partner.
HRC first focused on large corporations launching the Corporate Equality Index (CEI) in 2002. Large law firms were included as the erection of a Legally Trans landscape blossomed. The CEI guided corporations to accept harm to patients in exchange for business opportunities. Gender transition plans, healthcare insurance coverage, and more progressed from suggestions to requirements in exchange for good reports. Corporations by the hundreds morphed into arms of the medical industrial complex. Soon “Best Places to Work” and “Leader LGBT Healthcare Equality” designations were bestowed. The logo was updated as things went “queer” and beyond.
The State Equality Index (SEI) followed in 2004. By 2007 when the Health Equality Index (HEI) was added, corporations and governments had been indoctrinated into gender ideology. Or were they enticed by the social and economic perks that followed the rainbow agenda?
The Gay and Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA) is an endorsing partner. GLMA’s annual conferences (the 43rd is upcoming) are long funded by the medical industrial complex since AIDS was recognized as a new disease in 1981.
A snapshot of HRC HEI funding is below:
2007: launch with endorsing partner GLMA
2010 – present: funded in part by generous Pfizer grant
2013-2022: funded in part by generous Pfizer and PhRMA grants
2012, 2013, 2014, 2016: funded in part by grant from the Coca-Cola Foundation
In the years prior to pharmaceutical funding, the HEI was led by industry advisors making it clear business operations were moving forward. In 2011 the first and only pharmaceutical industry team member became Dana S. Fitzsimmons, a Pfizer pharmacist and medical outcomes specialist.
It was kind and good to support all things LGBTQ+ and wealth could flow was what the corporations, states, and healthcare providers were to believe. Truth was inconsequential and a healthy dose of fear was offered for those that did not acquiesce demands.
Consider that Cracker Barrel earned a big fat zero on the 2002 CEI. An HRC lashing appeared in the report. By the 2011 report the corporation was commended for giving up their old ways and donating to an LGBTQ+ NGO. The tides have at last turned and by 2025, despite hiring the LGBTQ+ friendly agency Prophet, the public wanted nothing to do with loosing tradition. Prophet was fired.
Logos only scratch the surface though. An entire industry has been erected. That is what must be dismantled.
In the inaugural CEI Pfizer did well. Within 2 years they became the first pharmaceutical company earning a perfect score on the report. Pfizer has a presence in almost every UN member nation. The presence would prove important to sell gender identity beliefs, goods, and services worldwide.
In 2000 the UN rolled out the UN Global Compact driving corporations to submit to Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals. The march for sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) were tucked in these goals and working their way into the UN resolution. International global corporations have since injected SOGI throughout the world. Who is leading who?
20+ years after HRC’s campaign began, the prospect of ending childhood gender medicine is in the air. While gender affirmation protocols for children could come to a stop, turn 18 in the US and the gender confused are fair game. Options for services are extensive. In 2024 79% of the 1000+ HEI participants received either an “HRC leader” or a “top performer” designation increasing from the year prior. In other words business is booming and the work ahead great.
In 2023, for the first time in HRC’s history, a state of emergency for LGBTQ+ people was declared. The real emergency was introduced decades ago but it was sneaky. Creating trans children was too much. Efforts are pushing back while the LGBTQ+ corporate army, Pfizer among them, counter them.
If it were up to the UN, HRC, Pfizer, PhRMA, or the industry participants gender medicine would never end. Harms would perpetuate. Aside from the HRC partnership, Pfizer’s other LGBTQ+ cultural and business initiatives expose their true colors.
Pfizers LGBTQ+ Embrace
Pfizer has all the accouterments of a company rallying for synthetic sex identities. Among Pfizer’s programs are Colleague Resource Groups including Out Pfizer Employee Network (OPEN). OPEN’s Pride Journal launched in 2006.
LGBTQ+ identified employees share experiences in the journal. Pronouns are announced following each name. Perusing these accounts shows the astounding confusion. One queer employee pushes for gender to not be constrained by the binary and longs for heterosexuality to not be the norm. Another shares her “grey asexual” identity. Another employee shares falling for a transwoman who had left his wife and children for his new identity. A transwoman (MTF) shares that he did not have gender distress as a kid. It was seeing trans people represented in media that led him to his truth. A reminder is needed. Truth is not subjective. Beliefs are.
Many share their marriage status and/or their pride in having children that can only come through adventures in baby-making. Another shares his support of HRC and is glad to see Pfizer rank as a leader. Of course they do! HRC and Pfizer are less about about supporting gay marriage, family creation, or caring for HIV or trans patients out of concern than they are for industry marriage with cultural campaigns for business prospects.
Pfizer is keen on harnessing the power of AI for social change. Querying “What is transgender?” on the Pfizer Health Answers platform launched in 2025 renders answers from culled sources that have no desire for truth.
Selling Harm
Supplier diversity programs became popular during the Civil Rights era. The 1953 Small Business Act offered a legal framework. The 1964 Civil Rights Act brought desegregation and criminalized employment discrimination. Business initiatives expanded for women’s and veterans groups in the 90s. By the early 2000s programs were devolving into identity politics. Realities like race and sex were soon conflated with personal identification.
The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) received NGO status in 2002 and certification for LGBTQ+ businesses launched. Transgender business certification followed in 2018.
An NGLCC certified business directory is available to corporate partners. Top HRC corporate sponsor JP Morgan Chase offers business classes for these special groups.
Spotlighted on NGLCC’s YouTube can be found participating “gender expansive” supplier Stealth Bros and Company. The female owner has gone stealth by living in medically induced drag and says she is filling a void in her community. The void? HRT dopp kits. (Dopp kit is just a word for fancy toiletry bag.)
A Diversity Alliance between Pharma and Suppliers
The NGO Diversity Alliance for Science (DA4S) was founded in 2008 pushing diverse procurement practices in the life science and health industries. Its 500+ members use the DA4S logo for business purposes much like HRC confers leader designations. Annual conferences award allies to the mission.
The alliance is made up of DA4S corporate sponsors forming a group called Helix. DA4S board of directors hail from these pharmaceutical executives. They guide small businesses to do as they do for riches at the end of the diversity rainbow. Pfizer, Gilead, Lilly, J&J, and GSK are among them.
In 2009 PhRMA members GSK and Pfizer together found ViiV Healthcare and now hold a 17 deep HIV drug portfolio. They claim to want to end HIV but others think it has to do with selling the drug regimen. The trans-identified are targets for these regimens.
In 2017 the DA4S Magic Johnson Business & Healthcare Award launched. The basketball star became a face of AIDS/ HIV after announcing his HIV+ status in 1991. His role was to sell survival. All that was needed was lifetime adherence to HIV meds. He became a GSK poster boy. That has not worked out for many but the narrative spins on.
The first Magic Johnson award went to the newly formed Building the Next Generation of Academic Physicians (BNGAP). BNGAP’s mission is to diversify the academic discipline of healthcare focusing on multicultural and LGBT students. Albany Medical College became the first BNGAP chapter in 2018.
BNGAP recently held the 12th annual LGBT Workforce Conference (for CME credit). It is supported by institutions that offer gender services like Mount Sinai and Planned Parenthood as well as the affirmation loving American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC).
And so it has gone for over 12 years with DA4S awards conferred to those growing industry profits for harm.
Collectively Diverse
In 2014 Pfizer launched the Multicultural Health Equity Collective comprised of Pfizer employees and 40+ US “diverse nonprofit community partners, healthcare professionals, and advocates.” It is unclear who these members are but is led by the Pfizer Multicultural Advisory Council (The Collective).
The Collective, according to the website, “aim[s] to close gaps in care and access impacting historically underserved and underrepresented communities while addressing drivers of health inequities in healthcare, including systemic racism.” This is the same social determinants of health (SDOH) model of healthcare discussed across posts. It is a place where synthetic sex identities have snuck under the umbrella of racial and cultural minorities to build industry. Once it goes live on interoperable platforms proliferation multiplies.
Collective member The National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF) made an appearance in Technocratic Gender Harmony. The post showed how data is being collected to push SDOH/ SOGI in electronic medical records (EMRs) and the role data plays in industry growth. For years federal recommendations have included collection of sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) data. A brief summary follows but read the post for details.
Health Level 7 (HL7), an organization guiding interoperability standards, started a project called Gender Harmony (under UCSF Social Interventions and Research and Evaluation Network (SIREN)) pushing gender ideology language. CDC and FDA are HL7 members. The past administration pushed adoption of Gender Harmony among federal departments.
NMQF and other organizations formed the Data Equity Coalition in 2023. The LGBTQ Task Force provides a white paper, “Understanding Intersectional Data Equity” supporting SOGI data collection.
Other collective members will not be discussed for now. Only in 2025 is pushback happening to remove gender identity in federal policy. Everything in tech and healthcare scream the opposite. In 2025, as part of an initiative called Health Equity in Action Summit (HEiA) Pfizer awarded 1.75M to “address systemic health disparities.” Among recipients were LGBT friendly SAGE and GLMA (HRC HEI partner).
Continuing or Ending Social Change for Industry
New federal guidance was issued in August 2025 for federal insurance carriers to end funding for gender affirming services for all ages by 2026. Exceptions for current patients are admitted and counseling can continue. Insurance carriers must document exception process. Many would argue guidance for patients caught up in a scandal, calling out undue influence and illegitimate diagnoses, and the removal of affirmation therapy is needed. How many will fall through the cracks in an industry built on lies?
Carriers must also update their online directories removing those that provide gender services. Insurance business models exemplify a rising SDOH model for future markets. The data on industry directories query for identity markets to align patients with the perfect harm-giver. The tech industry guides language.
Guidances are not law. Pfizer partner HRC has curated resources for continued health services and legal guidance to stifle attempts to reign in the harm and proliferate industry. Money flows into gender coffers. Industry initiatives like Helix and The Collective speak of something else. The biotech industry is drooling for patients in ART, IVF, ectogenesis and beyond.
To date transgender remains part and parcel of the the federal government Healthy People 2030 objectives while federal partnerships between tech and medicine reek of industry over citizens. Recognizing the role of tech and the pharmaceutical corporations in the gender industry were needed long ago.

Thanks for sharing such in depth research. I consider myself well read and had no idea of the complex partnership between Pharma and transgender ideology. It is all about profit as usual! So disgusting and evil.
Well, that was a dispiriting read. Thank you for this excellent summary of facts (because unlike those who prefer to live in an applied postmodern world, I know that facts exist). I sometimes ask myself how I managed to sleep through all this shit, but then I remember how furtive stealth is a necessary technique of the entire trans edifice. Because the cult leaders, most of whom are obscenely wealthy white dudes, know that Joe and Jane Public would not be supporting or voting for any of this made-up universe.
When even the World Health Organization is pandering to perverts, we really are up shit creek without a paddle: https://lucyleader.substack.com/p/has-the-world-health-organization
